Normal A2D2 playback streams live audio; it does not save your records as files.
The larger USB-A port is not the power input. Connect power to USB-C. For turntable audio, use the analogue line output into RCA IN; a turntable or preamp’s USB output is not a substitute for this connection.
The current app has no USB recording controls. Contact support before relying on USB-drive playback or recording for your setup.
To digitise records, use a USB turntable or an audio interface connected to a computer with recording software such as Audacity.
