Will A2D2 work with my speaker?

Check the exact model and supported connection, not just the brand.

The app provides Sonos, Direct AirPlay, Chromecast, HEOS, Alexa and Bluetooth routes. Direct AirPlay works from Android as well as iOS because A2D2 sends the audio. Phone-based AirPlay 2 multi-room requires an iPhone or iPad.

A brand can sell models with different protocols. Check the manufacturer’s specification for your exact speaker and whether the feature needs enabling. An AirPlay-capable model does not automatically support Chromecast, or vice versa.

For a wired amplifier or powered speaker, check for a suitable analogue line input. If unsure before buying, send support the full model number and your phone type. We can check the intended route rather than promise every feature for a whole brand.
