A2D2 Stream supports playback on a single Amazon Alexa speaker.


Grouped Alexa speaker playback is currently in development.


Using Alexa with A2D2 Stream

To connect A2D2 Stream to your Alexa speaker:

  1. Install the A2D2 Skill in the Alexa app on your phone.

  2. Say, “Alexa, open A2D2” to your speaker.


Alexa will ask you for a connection code.

To find your code:

  • Open the A2D2 app.

  • Tap the Alexa icon.

  • Read out the 4-character code shown on screen.


Once connected, Alexa will remember your code. You will not need to enter it again.

After setup, simply say: “Alexa, open A2D2”


A2D2 Stream will automatically begin sending audio to your Alexa speaker.

Important Notes

  • Alexa playback currently supports single-speaker use only.

  • All devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

  • Ensure your Alexa speaker is running the latest firmware via the Alexa app.
