A2D2 Stream integrates seamlessly with Denon and Marantz HEOS-compatible systems.
HEOS allows you to stream audio over your Wi-Fi network to individual speakers, AV receivers, and grouped rooms using the HEOS platform.
HEOS Systems
HEOS is built into selected Denon and Marantz products, including wireless speakers, soundbars, and AV receivers. Grouping and room management are handled within the HEOS app.
A2D2 Stream works with all HEOS-enabled devices connected to the same network.
Using HEOS with A2D2 Stream
Open the A2D2 app.
Click the HEOS Icon
A2D2 Stream will automatically detect HEOS-compatible speakers and receivers on the same Wi-Fi network.
To start playback:
Tap the speaker you would like to listen on.
A2D2 Stream will begin streaming audio to that device.
If you create groups within the HEOS app, those groups will automatically appear as selectable destinations in the A2D2 app.
Important Notes
All devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Speaker grouping is managed within the HEOS app.
Ensure your Denon or Marantz device is running the latest firmware.
Audio Format
HEOS supports up to 24-bit / 96 kHz audio when streaming via A2D2 Stream. Older HEOS v1 hardware is limited to 16-bit / 48 kHz
