Pair your headphones or speaker with A2D2 itself, then control playback in the app.
Overview
Audio source → A2D2 → Bluetooth
- Put the headphones or speaker into pairing mode. Disconnect it from another phone or source if necessary.
- Open A2D2 and choose Play to → Bluetooth.
- Tap Scan, then choose the device under Available devices and use its pairing or playback control.
- Start your music source and adjust the volume carefully.
Previously paired devices appear under Saved devices. Phone Bluetooth used for initial A2D2 setup is separate from this audio connection.

Dropouts or short range
Move the receiver closer to A2D2 and away from metal obstructions. Avoid placing A2D2 behind an amplifier or inside a closed metal cabinet. If it only works in one orientation, tell support rather than repeatedly pairing or reflashing it.
The audio is sent by A2D2, not by your phone. Keep the headphones within range of A2D2.
Still stuck? Contact support with your phone model, app version, A2D2 software version, router or speaker model, and the exact message you see. Never send your Wi-Fi password.
Another phone reconnects to the headphones
Some receivers reconnect to a previously paired phone or prioritise another source. If playback switches away, disconnect that competing connection and try again. Automatic switching depends on the receiver; it does not happen with every model. Do not turn off the phone’s Bluetooth during A2D2 setup.
